Goal
Fix system dependency detection in
deps.luafor Lua libraries whosepackage/display name differs from their
require()name.Context
module.confdeclares system dependencies by package/display name(e.g.
luasocket,luaossl,luasec), matching whattools/build-stpkg.shandprint_entry()show to the user.deps.luachecks presence via
find_lua_lib(name), which currently onlynormalizes one specific case (
lua-sql-* -> luasql.*).For
luasocket,luaossl, andluasec, the actualrequire()nameis
socketandsslrespectively -- neither matches the declaredname, and neither is covered by the existing normalization. Result:
deps.check()reports these as missing even when installed (confirmedon karl:
lua54-socketandlua54-secboth present via pacman,daw-module-smtpinstall still failed with "unmet systemdependencies").
Acceptance Criteria
deps.luacan resolve package/display name torequire()namefor at least
luasocket -> socket,luaossl -> ssl,luasec -> ssl, alongside the existinglua-sql-*casehardcoded special case per dependency
daw-modul-smtpinstalls cleanly viabin/<project> modules install smtponce fixed (regression check)Notes
Found while installing
daw-modul-smtpinto kaupapi. Worked around fornow via
modules install-local <path>.stpkg, which skipsdeps.check()entirely.
